One of the most striking expressions of the beauty of human beings can be witnessed at times when they are deeply immersed in work. When women feel a deep sense of responsibility towards their work, and enthusiastically engage themselves in carrying it out well, they will never lose their youthfulness.

The Chinese character for the word "busy" (isogashii) is composed of two characters that mean "lose" and "heart". If we get swept away by a busy lifestyle, losing ourselves and feeling consumed by the flurry of things that need to get done each day, then we could end up forgetting even those things that are of prime importance.

It is prisicely at such times, that we should remember to take a moment out to ask ourselves the question: "For what purpose?"

Unwaveringly walking along the path that we chose for ourselves is, in itself, happiness. It goes without saying then, that while we are in good health let us spare no efforts in working hard. Let's exert ourselves to the best of our ability and keep moving forwards.

- Daisaku Ikeda

自らが決めた道を歩めること自体、幸福なのである。ゆえに、健康なときに労を惜しまず、働くことである。努力することである。前進することである。
