If there is but one woman of wisdom and intelligence in the workplace, can you imagine just how wonderful the expanding waves of joy would be?

- Daisaku Ikeda

The power to change the tracks of human history hinges on the confluence of women who protect precious life, and who patiently raise and nurture it based on their wisdom and compassion. The power of motherhood far surpasses the power of authority.

- Daisaku Ikeda

My mentor Josei Toda once encouraged a woman saying: "If a woman cannot bring joy and happiness to the place where she is in right now, then which place, I ask, can she bring happiness to?"

- Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 234)

A woman who can celebrate the joy of living, is a happy person.
A woman who can find things in her life to feel happy and jubilant about, is a winner of the spirit.

- Daisaku Ikeda

Nothing can match the eloquence of a woman speaking out for justice!
Nothing can compare to the voice of a woman who acts with sincerity.

- Daisaku Ikeda

The forties are an important turning point in a woman's life that will determine victory or defeat in life. Till you reach that point, act steadily and without loosing your patience, manifest your youthful energy, and build the solid base of happiness that will never crumble under any pressure.

- Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 334)

August 25th

Simply put, being strong translates to being happy; being weak translates to being unhappy. What I truly wish, is for you to become women of strength, women with a solid core in life.

- Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 256)

My mentor, Josei Toda said: "I would like all women to possess bold and courageous life force. Youthfulness is born from life force. Some people appear old although they are actually young. Some people's lives shine radiantly even though they are old. The difference lies in the level of their 'life force'."

- Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 331)

September 13

A woman who is constantly learning new things, is able to open up a whole new world of happiness. A woman who is constantly learning new things knows how to traverse the right course in life.
Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 276)

September 11

Whether they live in a far off country or one closer at home, humans beings are the same everywhere. We can feel and empathize in the pain of another's suffering. We can wish for another's welfare. And no one can stop us from praying for each other's happiness. A woman's prayer for fellow human beings opens the doors to the "globalization of the heart".

Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 273)
