Put your utmost effort in the task right before you!
Throw yourself upon the challenge you have for today!
Absorb yourself in the mission that is yours alone!
Here is where you will find victory.

- Daisaku Ikeda

ASHIMOTO NO ONORE NO SHIMEI NI TESSEYO!

I firmly believe that you have a unique and special mission that no one else in the world has. Your's is a life that only you can bring to blossom. While one can be doubtful about other things, this fact alone is free from all doubts.

Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 289)

No matter what situation we are faced with, let us be true to ourselves, do the best we can right where we are, leaving no room for regrets. And through our very own efforts, let us open up the path that leads to our chosen destiny.

- Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 250)

"Having a mission in life" and "becoming aware of one's mission in life" are two different things. It's a pity that many people lose the chance to discover what their missions in life could be, and allow themselves to go downhill. On the other hand, unlimited vitality and energy bursts forth from within the lives of those who have arrived at an awareness of their unique missions.

- Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 226)
