Put your utmost effort in the task right before you!
Throw yourself upon the challenge you have for today!
Absorb yourself in the mission that is yours alone!
Here is where you will find victory.

- Daisaku Ikeda

Till the final years of his life, king of comedy, Charlie Chaplin, always responded to the question: "What according to you, is your masterpiece", by saying: "It's going to be the next one".

As long as one maintains the spirit to keep on challenging, there are really no deadlocks in life. It's not that we walk because there is a path, rather, it is because we walk that we can pave a path for ourselves.

- Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 229)

Those who possess the spirit to challenge, never face a deadlock. There is a western proverb that says "Fortune smiles on those who dare." Everything begins with taking action. When we start taking action, our wisdom begins to emerge.

- Daisaku Ikeda

October 2

A brand new history begins when one individual takes up a new challenge. Lamenting on one's lot, blaming it all on one's circumstances will change nothing. The world changes to the extent that we do.

- Daisaku Ikeda

(Josei ni okuru kotoba 365 nichi, pg. 297)
