June 24th

On rainy days she celebrates the rain.
On windy days she lends a ear to the voice of the wind.
When she sees someone in need of help, she is quick to respond with her entire being.
A mother who lives her life like a beautiful poem,
sets the most ideal example her children can follow,
for it nurtures their hearts with a richness that far surpasses the power of words.

- Daisaku Ikeda
