It shouldn't really matter if so-and-so's family does things that way a certain way ours does things in a different way. It really is pointless if not foolish, to want to ape someone else's lifestyle. Neither is there a need to compare ourselves with others, nor is it possible to become someone else. For if we do so, we are in effect, building a facade, putting on an ostentatious show, going only by appearances.
